Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! Brenda here sharing a cheerful card featuring one of the floral images from the Tulips in Bloom Stamp Set!! If you follow me, you know that I LOVE to color and these florals are stunning and so much fun to color!! (You may want to get your shades out!! This is a BRIGHT one!!)
I started by stamping the floral, bow and butterflies from the Tulips in Bloom Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. Copic colors used – flowers: RV19, RV09, RV06, RV04, RV02, Y08, leaves: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG01. I added dots to the centers of a couple of the flowers with a yellow gel pen.
For the background, I die-cut the Heart Garland Cover Die from white cardstock and layered it over an A2 panel of bright yellow cardstock. The second largest scalloped die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set was cut from bright pink cardstock and adhered to the background using liquid glue. The floral bouquet and bow were also adhered using liquid glue, while the two butterflies were popped up with foam tape.
The sentiment, also included in the Tulips In Bloom Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam tape.
That’s it!! Such a bright and cheerful card to brighten someone’s day!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have an excellent week and I’ll see you back here next Monday!!
