Happy Monday and the first day of June!! Brenda back with a floral card featuring the Floral Trio Press + Foil Plate!! I decided to color my floral image, but there is also a stencil set available, if coloring isn’t your thing!!
I started by pressing the Floral Trio Press + Foil Plate onto a panel of white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink using the BetterPress System. I colored the image with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out. A yellow gel pen was used to add dots to the centers of the flowers.
For the background, I die-cut the Heart Garland Cover Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of pearl rose gold cardstock from the Festive Fusion Mix Cardstock Pack. The floral was adhered to the background with liquid glue.
The sentiment is a combination of the Hello & Hugs Dies and the With Love Sentiments Die Set. The top layer of “hello” from the Hello & Hugs Die Set was cut once from rose gold cardstock in the Festive Fusion Paper Pack and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was die-cut from pearl maroon cardstock in the same cardstock pack one time and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. “Friend”, from the With Love Sentiments Die Set, was cut from the same cardstocks. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the bottom of the background. Lots of pink sparkle rhinestones were the perfect finishing touch.
