Hey friends! It’s Amanda here with you on the blog today sharing a really adorable card I created!
To create this card, I used a masking technique! I stamped the bunnies from the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set first with my MISTI and some black ink. Before cleaning my stamp, I placed a piece of Heffy Memo Tape (you can use any masking tape or a sticky note!) down on top of my stamped images. Using the leftover ink on the stamp, I stamped the images onto the tape. Using scissors, I fussy cut out the bunnies and then I placed the masks on top of the stamped images. Next I stamped the wagon using the same technique.
Then, I placed a long piece of tape across the entire panel to mask off the bottom of the panel.. This is so I can stamp the flowers in the background.
Next, I stamped the Tulips in Bloom flowers, starting at the center of the panel. I masked off just the areas that I needed to for the flowers to not overlap.
Once everything was stamped, I removed all the masks. Then, I colored the entire scene with Copic markers. It was so fun coloring these little bunnies in!
After coloring it in, I glued it to an A2 card base and the card was finished!
Thank you for coming by the Alex Syberia Designs blog today!! Xx, Amanda
