Hello, friends and happy Monday!! Brenda back with you today!! I hope the new year is off to a great start for you!! I absolutely love the Christmas Bouquet Die Set!! I thought it would be fun to create it in a different color combo than Christmas!! I don’t think that the recipient would look at this and think it’s a Christmas card with poinsettias, do you? I think they could pass for dahlias.

I started by die-cutting the flowers, berries and leaves from pink, peach, yellow, green, teal and brown cardstock using the Christmas Bouquet Die Set. I added shading to the die-cuts with dye inks using blending brushes. The background die was cut from teal cardstock and the elements were adhered with liquid glue.

I created the shaped card by die-cutting the large die in the Christmas Bouquet Die Set from an A2 top-folding card base, leaving the top of the die hanging over the folded edge. The teal die-cut background was adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Abstract Background Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with pink dye ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. A sprinkling of clear confetti adds a bit of shine and finishes off the card.

What’s the verdict? If you didn’t know this was created with a Christmas die set, would you just think it was a floral card? I think so…
Thank you so much for stoping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Monday!!

Love these colors together!! And I love being able to use a holiday-themed set for non-holiday cards. This is so wonderful.
