Hello again and welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs Blog where I get to share with YOU this gorgeous card for Mom! It’s Amanda Fitterer (or @craftyandcreativevibes to some of you!)
This card was messy and fun to make! Keep reading to see how I created it!
The star of this show is the Urban Blooms Die! I trimmed a piece of black cardstock to 4″x5.25″ and then ran it through my diecutting machine with the Urban Blooms Die in the center. Next, I cut the Urban Blooms Die again, but with white cardstock.
To get this look, I trimmed the insides of some of the flowers from the WHITE cardstock and then glued them to the black cardstock! Before gluing them though, I used Catherine Pooler’s Party Dress Ink and a tiny blending brush to blend some pink in the center of each flower.
Next, I splattered white and gold paint all over the flowers and black cardstock. I glued the black panel to a gold panel trimmed to 4.25″x5.5″.
For my sentiment, I used the Mom Hot Foil & Die Set. I cut the shadow using the same gold cardstock as my background and the sentiment in white cardstock.
I fluffed up all the flowers using tweezers and then I added some tiny gold balls to the center of the 3 pink flowers.
I think this card is sure to WOW my MOM! Don’t you think!? Thanks for coming by the Alex Syberia Designs Blog today and I’ll be back next Thursday with some more inspo!! Xx, Amanda
