Hi crafty friends! I’m Lien back with a super colorful birthday card using the Paradise Birds stamp set.
This card is very simple to make and because the coloring is a little repetitive, also very relaxing! I started by stamping 4 of the Paradise Birds onto a piece of white cardstock. I did this 4 times so I end up with 16 birds. I colored them all in using my Ohuhu Brushmarkers (now on sale!).
Once they were colored in I stamped over all of the lines again with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder to it. Stamping multiple times like this is super easy to do with the Misti. All that’s left to do is heatset the images and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I covered a white cardbase with bright pink cardstock and arranged all the birds on there. Once happy with the arrangement, I take a piece of Press ‘n Seal and pick all the images up at once. I can then add foamtape to the back of all of them and adhere them all at once on my card. I finished this up with 3 sentiment strips white heat embossed onto black cardstock. These are all from various Alex Syberia Designs stamp sets.
And that’s it! I didn’t add any embellishments to this and just let the bright colors speak for themselves. For more tips and tricks you can watch the video here.
