I am super thrilled today to be Guest Designing for Alex Syberia designs. Thank you so much Alex for giving me this amazing opportunity.
I made two cards using the Digital image called “Be You” from the May release.
For my first card, I printed the image on an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. Coloured the image initially using Zig markers. Later added details to the flowers and leaves using Faber Castell polychromos. I also added a small shoulder strap to the image and coloured it.
I foam mounted this panel on a slightly larger, top folding grey card base. I die-cut the sentiment twice and layered them together to create dimension. Adhered the die-cut and another small sentiment strip. Lastly, added a few sequins to complete the card.
For the second card, I cropped and printed the floral part from the image. Watercoloured the image using Zig markers.
Fussy cut the entire floral arrangement. On a side folding card base, I added a few splatters if black paint. Foam popped the fussy cut image. I added the heat embossed sentiment strip. Lastly, added some sequins all over the card.
