Hello friends! It’s Amanda Fitterer here with you today to show you how to make a cool shaker card using the semi-circle from the Timeless Blooms Die Set and the gorgeous Watercolor Flowers Stamp Set.
To create this card, I’m going to start by stamping!! The Watercolor Flowers Stamp Set are so easy to use, especially if you have an amazing color palette to work with! I decided to do a combo of Catherine Pooler’s Catching Rays, Limoncello, Chiffon, Suede Shoes, Flirty Fuchsia, Sparkling Berry and Midnight inks.
After stamping, I die cut the semi-circle out from the Timeless Blooms Die Set right in the center of the card panel. I kept the cut out piece to use in the back of my shaker window.
To create my shaker part, I trimmed down a piece of acetate to be a bit bigger than my semi circle. I used some double sided tape to attach it to my card panel. Once it was set in place, I applied thick foam tape all around the card panel.
On my card base, I glued my semi-circle cutout and then filled it up with sequin mixes. Then, I went ahead and placed my card panel onto my card base.
I die cut the Contemporary Hello Dies, using black for the shadow and white for the word. I had previously stamped the Celebrations Sentiments Stamp and then die cut the strips out with the Thin Strips Cover Die. This creates 22 sentiments that are easy to grab anytime!!
Now, we can shake shake shake!!
I hope you enjoyed making this shaker card with me! I hope you feel inspired to make something beautiful today!
