Cascading wisteria blossoms in beautiful shades of blue, lavender, and shades of pink create a colorful floral display against a rich, deep teal background. The delicate hanging blooms bring a soft, romantic feel to this handmade card, while the bold background makes every blossom stand out. Finished with the heartfelt sentiment, “Grateful for your friendship,” this card is a lovely way to celebrate a special friend and let them know how much they mean to you.
I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products for this 5″ X 7″ card:
Magical Wisteria Stamp, Die & Stencil Bundle (includes the stencil set)
Magical Wisterias Stamp & Die Bundle (no stencil)

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped, stenciled and then stamped the design again to make the black ink lines nice and dark. If you use a tool such as the Sweet Petunia stamping tool, this is easy to do. You stamp, stencil over the design and then stamp again, keeping the stamps on the tool so exact placement is achievable. I stenciled the design using blues, aquas, red and purples and allowed the colors to blend together, giving a nice varied appearance. Once the second stamping was completed, I die cut the designs. I did do two die cuts to fit the entire top of the card front. I did end up splattering the florals in the end, too. I used watercolor paints for this step.

For the background, I used a deep teal cardstock and splattered it with colored paints including a white to make the colors show off. I attached the die cuts at the top using foam tabs on some of them to make them stand out from the background blossoms that were adhered directly on to the card front. I stamped and die cut three layers of the cut and stacked the sentiment to make it thicker. I attached it in the bottom right corner. I added some lavender and purple gem stone stickers at the base of the florals for added sparkle and attached the card front to a white card base.
