Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! Brenda here with a thank you card featuring the Urban Blooms Die to share with you today!! Thanksgiving is the perfect time to let those special people in your life how thankful you are for them!!
I began by die-cutting the Urban Blooms Die from a panel of white cardstock twice, once at the top and once at the bottom. I blended the centers of the flowers with red, orange and yellow dye inks and splattered the panel with diluted gold watercolor paint.
Once the panel was dry, it was die-cut with the smallest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of gold mirror cardstock with the largest rectangle die in the same die set. The floral panel was adhered to the gold one. I avoided adding adhesive behind the petals to allow them to pop up.
The sentiment is from the Give Thanks Hot Foil Plate and Die Set. It was foiled with satin gold foil, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. I added rainbow rhinestones to the centers of each flower to finish if off and add a little more bling.
That’s it for me today!! Have a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving (those of you who celebrate)!! I’ll see you next Monday!!
