Hello and happy Saturday, friends!! Brenda here with a card for the first ever ASD monthly challenge!! This month’s challenge is to create a shaker card and/or use a color combo as inspiration!! I’ll share the details down below on how you can join in the fun for a chance to win a GC to the ASD shop!! I was struck by the beautiful color combination, so that’s what I went with!!
I began by stamping the images from the Falala Friends Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I trimmed a panel of teal cardstock to about 2.5″ tall, applied grit paste through the Falling Snow Stencil with a palette knife and sprinkled it with clear glitter.
Once it was dry, I adhered it to a panel of white cardstock that was die-cut with the Sparkly Flakes Cover Die. The adorable bunny, sleigh and gifts were adhered to the teal panel with liquid glue.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with black ink, cut out with one of the dies in the Christmas Sentiments Coordinating Die Set, then popped up with foam adhesive. I added a few blue clay snowflakes to finish it off.
