Hi friends! I’m sharing the very lovely Alex Syberia Design’s “Spring Meadow” die on my card today. I paired it with another lovely set by Alex Syberia Designs called, “Tulips in Bloom” stamps and coordinating dies. I’m sure you have seen the meadow die paired with the Cheerful Meadow die set, but for this card, I wanted to mix it up just a bit and use the tulips in this design, too.
To make the card, I started with the Cheerful Meadow die set, cutting the bunnies from the set. I cut them from an ivory cardstock, then coloring them using E42 and E44. I splattered on white paint to make them look more organic for this design. I also die cut the “Spring Meadow” die from a light-to-medium aqua blue cardstock. Using my B00 Copic marker and a white Gelly Roll medium pen, I added some shading and highlight dots to the die cut to emphasize some of the delicate areas. Next, I stamped, colored, and die cut the beautiful florals and the sweet butterfly. I used Copic Markers, B000 B00, B01, and B02 to color the florals and R27, R14, R22 and R20 to color the butterfly.
I splattered the card base with black watercolor ink for an organic background. To assemble the card, I attached the blue die cut background to the card base. I stamped a sentiment to the bottom from the “Tulips in Bloom” stamp set using brown ink. Attached the tulips florals, bunnies and butterfly using foam tabs to make them stand out from the background. Lastly, I added a few aqua blue pearl gem stickers to complete the card.
