RAINBOW LAYOUT – KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

What is scrapbooking?
Scrapbooking is to put photos with dies, stamps, stickers, papers in scene. At the same time, the story of the pictures should be recorded via small texts and notes. The overall impression tries to convey the mood at the time of shooting. At the same time scrapbooking offers the opportunity to incorporate many artistic techniques and styles in the layout and mini albums.
I created a 12 x 12 layout using the Petit Periwinkles Die Set, Classic Foliage Die Set, Rainbow Sentiments with matching dies in rainbow design.
I punched out the Petit Periwinkles and Classic Foliage leaves from design paper and arranged them in a semicircle above my photo. With 3D Foam I have created dimensons. I added various stickers -flowers and butterflies.
I embossed matching sayings from Rainbow Sentiments and arranged them on the layout as well. The
small sweet stars I stamped in matching colors, punched out and applied with Glue Dots on the layout.
A matching quote completed the layout. My personal memories I also often write on the back – when I show the layout on Instagram.
I take my time to design a layout. Here a little flower, there a little star – for me scrapping is relaxation to my sometimes stressful everyday life.
What do I do with my layouts?
I have a photo wall in the hallway. There I hang or exchange the layouts again and again. Afterwards they go into an album.
