Hi Crafty friends,
Sylvie @kaliscards here with a postage stamp card, mixing new and older sets: the new Grateful for you set has that cute sentiment “Our friendship is magic” and it inspired me to pair it with the Always be yourself set, with those two cute unicorns.
To create this card, I die cut the Postage stamp cover die from white cardstock. I placed a grip mat in my stamping press and positionned the panel on it. I then covered the panel with the coordinating Postage stamps stencil.
I stamped the 2 unicorns from the Always be yourself set with Black Tuxedo Memento ink. I also stamped them on masking paper, fussy cut the images and adhered them on the postage panel. Next, I stamped the floral from the Grateful for you stamp set, making sure to leave enough space for the price tags and sentiment.
I used the Grateful for you coordinating stencil to color the leaves with Distress oxides Old paper and Mowed lawn, the bottom right flower with Tumbled glass and Milled lavender, the bottom left flower with Kitsch flamingo and Festive berries, and the two smaller flowers with Squeezed lemonade and Dried marigold.
I then blended Speckled egg in the backgrounds, avoiding the unmasked flowers.
I darkened the edges of each stamp with Iced spruce and blended the two colors.
I then removed the unicorns masks and stamped the sentiment from the Grateful for you set, and the price tags and post marks from the Special delivery stamp set.
Finally, I colored the unicorns with Copic markers and adhered the panel onto the cardbase with foam tape.
Thank you so much for reading through this post.
Have a lovely crafty time until next time.
