Hello everyone,
Natalia here from cardmadebynatalia.com
I am officially in love with Alex’ cut files, they are so versatile and the options are just so many! Head over to her shop if you haven’t seen them yet – Alex Syberia Design’s new release
For my card, I used the Snowflakes A2 Card Panel cut file, pictured below (right). I cut it with my Brother Scan n Cut from white cardstock twice, so that I could do some ink blending on the panel underneath to create a shadow. I used distress oxides: salty ocean and wilted violet. I have made a quick video which I will share on my Instagram account this weekend, so stay tuned!
The sentiment is from the Christmas Sentiments Bundle which I cut from an alcohol panel background I made using Laguna, Boysenberry, Fiesta and Silver Alloy. So much shine! I love it. To give it some dimension, I cut the word joy 3 times from white cardstock and glue them together. And I cut the shadow from vellum paper.
I used double sided foam tape behind the snowflakes and frame to adhere it to an A2 card front and ensure there was lots of dimension. It took some time, but the results are so worth it!
To finish it off, I added some pearls to the snowflakes, and the card was ready! Don’t you love working with svg cut files? It is quick and easy, and the results are awesome.
There is an Instagram hop happening right now, so be sure to check it out for lots of inspiration from so many talented crafters and the possibility to win a giveaway! See you there.
Sending hugs,
Natalia
