Hello and happy new year friends, this is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog. I have a simple card to share with you featuring the ‘Always Be Yourself‘ stamp set with no dies needed. The card started with a white A2 panel of cardstock. Using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black I stamped the unicorn, heart and small star images. I then came in with other small images from the stamp set but used coloured inks. I kept going until there was an even distribution.
I used Copic markers to colour the unicorn images. I used C3, C1 and C0 to shade them and then came in with RV10 and RV000 to add pinkish warmth. For the tails I used the same pinks plus BG10 and Y000 .
This panel was backed with white craft foam and applied to a larger white card base. I used Stickles glitter to to add sparkle to the manes, horns, tails and dotted through the white background for lots of dazzle when the card is handled.
Whilst the Stickles was drying I stamped the two part sentiment using Versamark on black sentiment strips and I heat embossed in white. I added these to the background popped up on dimensional foam tape. For the final flourish I added a few flat silver star embellishments (they’ve photographed quite dark) around the sentiment area of the card.
