Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Brenda back sharing a card featuring the Holly Jolly Die and the Mini Ornaments Die Set from the latest release!! I’ve also used one of the oh-so-beautiful new cardstock packs!!
I began by creating the background by die-cutting the Magic Stars Die onto a panel of dark blue cardstock twice to cover the entire panel. It was adhered to an A2 panel of gold cardstock from the Christmas Sparkle paper pack. The frame was created by taping the two rectangle dies in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set together and die-cutting it from dark blue cardstock. It was adhered to the background panel with liquid glue.
The Holly Jolly Die was cut from gold glitter cardstock (also from the Christmas Sparkle cardstock pack) and white cardstock. They were adhered together, slightly offset, then adhered to the background with liquid glue.
Some of the sweet ornaments in the Mini Ornaments Die Set were cut from white, black, orange, two shades of brown and red glitter cardstock from the Christmas Sparkle cardstock pack. All the pieces were adhered together with liquid glue. I added a small bow to the loop at the top of each ornament with gold thread, then adhered the ornaments to the background. I used a black fine-line pen to add in the details to the ornaments and adhered a tiny red gem to each bow to finish off the card.
A simple design filled with sparkle for a holly jolly holiday season!!
