Hello friends. It’s Friday and what a great day to see the sun shining after tornado warnings and high winds in Wisconsin, USA yesterday. We survived with no damage. Here’s a bouquet to enjoy another new day! I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
Tulips in Bloom stamp set and coordinating dies
This 5″ X 7″ greeting card begins with a white card base made from Neenah 80lb white cardstock. I splattered brown watercolor over the front of the base before adding any layers. Next, I used a ban of a light blue pattern paper on the top half along with 1/8″ red strips bordering on both edges.
For the floral bouquet, I layered some blue and white die cut flowers using the Cheerful Meadow Die Set. I added some blue and white detailing to the flowers using my Copic B02 and white Gelly Roll Pen. I attached the florals in a circular design.
I stamped, die cut and colored one of the tulip bouquets and pretty bow using the Tulips in Bloom stamp set and coordinating dies. I used the following Copic Markers to the design: R20, R22, R14, R17, R24, YG67, YG17, and YG03. I attached the tulips and bow to the greeting card using foam tabs to make the tulips stand out from the die cut florals.
The last touch to the card was stamping a sentiment in the lower right corner using brown ink to match the watercolor splatters.
