Happy Monday, fellow cardmakers!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Brenda back with a “hello” card featuring the Lush Peony Press + Foil Plate from the latest Lush Florals Collection!!

I began by pressing the Lush Peony Bouquet Press + Foil Plate onto a panel of white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink using the BetterPress System. I colored it with Copic markers and added dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen. I splattered it with the two lightest blue colors that I used for the shadow by flicking the end of the marker along the edge of the marker cap, trying to concentrate most of the splatter around the outside of the bouquet.

I wrapped black and white baker’s twine along the left side of the panel and tied it into a bow. The largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set was cut from dark blue cardstock and the floral panel was adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Classic Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set. It was pressed onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. Once the ink was dry, it was cut out with the included die. I also die-cut another layer from the same blue cardstock and adhered it behind the pressed one with liquid glue, slightly offset, then popped it up with foam squares.

That’s it for me today!! Be sure to check out the entire Lush Florals Collection in the shop!!
Thanks for stopping by!! I’ll see you next Monday!!
