Hi crafty friends!
Nicoletta, @nicolettaporcu.design, here with a new card to share with you!
How are you lovely? I come back home after the summer break at the beach and I’m enjoying my daily routine including the time at my craft desk.
This is the card I just completed and hope you like it!
To male my card I started by lightly stencilling the Chevron Chic stencil on a sheet of Neenah paper. I used the Distress Oxide ink. Then I die cut it using a dotted rectangle die from the Nested Scalloped Frames die set, and I positioned it it over a white card base.
With the same rectangle die I created a frame; I blended it in light blue and I glued it over the stenciled rectangle using foam adhesive strips to add dimension.
Next up I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Andalusia Wildflowers die set, and I colored them in a very soft gradient using the Distress Oxide Inks, Tumbled Glass……..
I glued them on the frame using adhesive pads to make them pop out.
Next up, I used the same inks I used for the floral composition , and the Thin Strips Cover die, to realised some colored strings. I insert them under the frame gluing them diagonally.
I continued by stamping and die cutting the sentiment using the Classic Sentiments Press Plate and die set, and by gluing it in the bottom of the flowers.
As a last thing I added some colored beads and that’s it!
