You Make My Heart Happy

Hello, crafters and happy Saturday!! Brenda here with a mostly stenciled card to share that combines several new goodies from the latest Time To Choose Magic Release!!

I started by stenciling one of the rainbows in the Joyful Rainbow Stencil Set onto white cardstock with Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. Once the ink was dry, I fussy cut it out.

For the background, I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxides onto a panel of white using the Confetti Stencil Set. ( I first used blue inks with this stencil, but after it was finished I thought it resembled a sunburst, so I reinked it in shades of yellow and orange.) I die-cut the panel with the largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set and adhered it to a white card base.

The clouds were stamped onto white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink using stamps from the Always Be Yourself Stamp Set, then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The rainbow and clouds were adhered to the background with liquid glue.

The sentiment was created with a combination of the Foxtrot Alphabet Die Set and the Happy Blooms Stamp Set. “YOU” was die-cut once from black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock using the Foxtrot Alphabet Die Set, stacked and adhered together, then adhered to the front of the card. The rest of the sentiment, from the Happy Blooms Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut into a narrow strip and popped up with foam adhesive. To finish, I sprinkled on some silver holographic stars for a little shine.
