Hello! This is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a new card that I made featuring a variety of products. Read on for the details of this card.
To create this ‘paper hug’ card I first took a white A2 panel of cardstock and I overlaid the Postage Stamps Stencil and I ink blended through it using Curry and Party Pink inks by The Stamp Market.
I removed the stencil and used the Postage Stamps Cover Die to die cut the panel.
I took the Special Delivery stamp set and chose a variety of pretty words and images from it and with my Misti I double stamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black for a nice crisp image.
I backed this decorative panel with dimensional foam tape and adhered it to a white A2 card base.
To finish the card I stamped the circular image seen in the centre of the card using Versamark Ink and then I heat embossed in gold. I die cut the circle using some nesting dies from my stash.
I added more dimensional foam tape to the reverse and then adhered it to the centre of the card.
Last but not least I finished the design with a few Nuvo Dream Drops in ‘Gold Luxe’.
This whole card came together very quickly and is a useful design to keep on hand in different colours in case someone you know suddenly needs to be sent a hug!
