There’s a new release at Alex Syberia Designs called, “From Our Hearts.” This release celebrates love and friendship with hearts, florals, collages and even some very cute penguins! Today, on February 28, we are celebrating this new release with an Instagram Hop. Hop with us for a chance to win prizes and gain loads of inspiration along the way! Alex Syberia Designs is giving away a $50 gift card and one of four $15 gift cards to some random lucky winners that leave comments on our hop! You can hop on here!
I’m sharing my card here from the Hop. I wanted to give you additional details and links to products used as well. Let’s do this!
For this 5″ X 7″ floral card, I am using the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
I also used the Pretty Bows dies from a previous release, too!
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I started by stamping the beautiful, From Our Hearts stamp set. These florals stamped in black on white cardstock make for a beautiful and airy background. Next, I die cut the florals from the Trendy Botanicals die set and assembled the the flowers. I used a selection of pinks and reds and used Distress Oxide Ink in Candied Apple to add a brighter color on the deep pink cardstock. I love how they turned out! This die set has some tiny florals on curvy stems which gave this bouquet soft curves and an airy feel. In fact, I used one of the floral bud stems as a simple leaf in a light pink at the top. You would never know!
I die cut the letters, LOVE from the Love and XOXO die set and added them to the sides of the florals. I die cut them from pinks and a deep orange. I used a T-square to line them up on my card to make sure they were straight across. These letters are strong and look so beautiful with these modern buds. I think this card would be a beautiful, wedding, valentine, anniversary or birthday card. It could be used in so many ways which is fantastic to have in your stash and ready to send!
To complete this card, I added some red pearls above and below the florals. I also die cut the Pretty Bows dies from orange cardstock (to match the L and V letters) and attached them to the center of the bouquet. I had some leftover white hearts from another project and added one to the center of the bow and more scattered above and below the flowers. It clean, simple and the perfect addition to this LOVE card, in my opinion.
