Happy Monday, friends!! I hope those of you who celebrate, had a wonderful Easter!! Brenda back with a card that combines the Chic Shoes Die Set and a sentiment from the Shoes Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set with a couple of older products!!
I began by die-cutting all the pieces for the shoes from pink, teal, yellow and black cardstock using the Chic Shoes Die Set. I added a bit of shading with dye inks and blending brushes, then adhered them together with liquid glue.
For the background, I used dye inks and blending brushes to blend the Charming Floral Background Stencils onto a panel of white cardstock. It was die-cut with the largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I also die-cut two panels of vellum using dies from the same die set.
The sentiment, from the Shoes Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set, was pressed onto white cardstock with teal dye ink using the BetterPress System, then cut out with the included die. The shoes and sentiment were both popped up onto the vellum with foam squares. The vellum panels were adhered to the background, adding liquid glue only behind the die-cuts. I sprinkled on some clear confetti and added Star Dust Stickles to the centers of the flowers to add a bit of sparkle and shine and finish off the card.
