Imagine a garden overflowing with blooms in every vibrant shade imaginable. Brilliant pinks, sunny yellows, alluring aquas, vibrant violets, cheerful corals, and lush greens come together to create a joyful celebration of nature’s beauty. My card captures that colorful abundance, transforming a bouquet of blossoms into a heartfelt design that’s perfect for brightening someone’s day. My card features the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
Classic Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set
Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set
My card is 5″ X 7″ in size. I used Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base.

To make this card, I stenciled the flowers using the Garden of Blooms Stencil Set and a number of Distress Oxide Ink colors including: Kitsch Flamingo, Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness, Broken China, and Wilted Violet. I let the colors blend together to make other colors. I used Copic Sketch Markers to add more detailing on the flower centers, leaves, etc. Once everything was colored, I splattered the florals with white Dr. PH Martens ink. I die cut the florals.
For the background, I die cut the largest scalloped frame from a very yellow-green cardstock and another frame from the same set from black cardstock, using the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I layered the frames and the florals, using foam tabs to attach the floral bouquet.

I splattered black watercolor ink over the front of the white card base. I also stenciled black dots over the splatters in the two opposite corners using the Tiny Flowers Stencil Set and Distress Oxide Ink in Black Soot. I attached the frames and added the sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set. I used Pearl Pen in black to add more dimension on the black frame’s corners and the dots on the background.
