Hi crafty friends! I’m Lien, back with another card and video using the brand spanking new release!
I’m head over heels for these unicorns and rainbows. The Always Be Yourself stamp set is so adorable, just had to use one of these unicorns on today’s card! I used my Misti to stamp the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with my Ohuhu Brushmarkers. Once it was colored, I stamped it again with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with Clear Gloss embossing powder.
For my background I used the Tiny Crosses Cover Die and cut it from watercolor cardstock. I put it in my splatbox and used a few Distress Spray Stains to add splashes of blue and purple to it. When I make a background like this, I just play around with the colors, no rhyme or reason to it until I like the end result and then I heatset it to speed up the drying process.
I trimmed the sides of this background down and glued it onto a top folding white notecard using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. To add more of a scene for my unicorn I used the fun Quirky Rainbow die set. I cut it once from white cardstock to add dimension and once from a couple warm colors of cardstock. I also wanted to add some sparkle so I used the coordinating dies from the Always Be Yourself set to cut stars and a moon from gold glitter cardstock.
I finished the card with a die cut sentiment from the Bright & Bubbly die set and a sub sentiment from the Rainbow Sentiments stamp set.

A truly magical card. And your background looks amazing too.
