Hello, friends!! Brenda here with a”Hello” card featuring the Clematis Die Set!! I love the striking complementary colors!!
I began by die-cutting the elements in the Clematis Die Set from green, plum and white cardstock. I added shading to the foliage with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks using blending brushes. I added shading to the blooms with Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade and shaded the centers of the flowers with wine dye ink. All the die-cuts were adhered together with liquid glue.
The two rectangle dies in the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set were taped together and cut from white cardstock to create a frame. An A2 panel of plum cardstock was inked around the outside with wine dye ink, then the frame and clematis were adhered with liquid glue. I wrapped the sheer yellow ribbon around the panel and tied it into a bow.
The top layer of the sentiment, from the Hello & Hugs Die Set, was cut from pearl maroon cardstock in the Festive Fusion Mix Cardstock Pack and white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from white cardstock. I added Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks to the top, white layer, adhered the maroon layer, slightly offset, then adhered it to the shadow layer. It was popped up across the ribbon with foam squares.
Well, that does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful Monday!!
