Hello friends! I’m here today sharing a quick card that is elegant and charming using the Alex Syberia Designs, Beautiful stamp set. There is also a hot foil plate for this set that I did not use on my card. Here’s a link to the Beautiful Day Hot Foil Plate. This card is easy! Why? No diecutting, little coloring and a whole lot of beauty. I used the stencil to color this one. However, I believe the stencil is sold out now.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped the floral design from the Beautiful stamp set. across the front of my A7 card front panel. I also stamped the sentiment from the same set right below it on the right hand-side of the card. I colored the floral design using teals/blues and yellows. I also used a Copic N2 marker to add shading under the elements of the design. This really gives the design some dimension. I used Copics in Y19, Y08, BG13, B00, and BG75 for the florals.
I stamped two more singular florals with the leaves from the stamp set and cut them out. I attached one to the top and one to the bottom and added sweet honey gold sequins around them, creating a vertical line on the front. I attached the card front to a card base made of white Neenah 80lb cardstock to complete the look. Not every card needs to be so involved that it takes hours to make it. Sometimes you want to make your card and get outside and enjoy the Beautiful Day!
