Hello Crafty friends,
Sylvie @kaliscards here.
Today, I’m sharing two CAS card ideas with the Hog happy day stamp set.
To create the shaker, I started by die cutting the front panel with the larger rectangle from the Good day quilted rectangle die from white cardstock twice.
I then die cut the sentiment opening using the outline word of the sentiment from the same die set. I saved the little die cut separating the words Have and good to adhere later. I then die cut the sentiment itself from white cardstock.
On the second rectangle panel, I blended Distress oxide Kitsch flamingo and adhered the white sentiment on top, through the first panel opening, to center the sentiment.
I then adhered a piece of acetate at the back of the front panel and glued the small die cut separating the words Have and good at the front. I then added foam tape at the back, around the sentiment opening and edges and poured a mix of piggie clay embellishments, micro beads in red, white and pink and pink sequins, over the back panel and adhered the front panel on top of it.
I then trimmed the rear panel for anything sticking out of the front panel and adhered the shaker onto the cardbase with liquid adhesive.
Next, I stamped the cute pigs and books from the Hog happy day set, colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut the images.
I glued the images on the front panel and added a few heart embellishments.
For the second card, I die cut the Floral Splendor cover die from white and pink cardstock. I then glued the white panel over the pink one, with a small offset, to create a shadow. I then used the smaller circle from the Nested circle die set to die cut a circle from white cardstock. I then adhered the floral panel onto the cardbase with liquid adhesive.
Next I die cut the Hello word with the Thank you & Hello die set from the same pink cardstock.
I adhered the sentiment at the top of the circle and stamped the little sentiment below from the Hog happy day set, with black ink. I then glued the circle die cut onto the floral panel.
I also stamped the two pigs on a piece of white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I finally adhered them onto the front panel, with liquid adhesive. I then added a little glitter on the piggie wings.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day!
