Hello Alex Syberia Designs friends! I have a card that seems so fitting to share today with Thanksgiving next week. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and thank those family and friends that surround us, helping and supporting us each day. It’s a time for thanksgiving! For this 5″ X 7″ card, I used the following products from the latest collection, “Grateful For You” release:
Give Thanks Hot Foil Plate and Die set
To make this card, I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints and watercolor paper to create an abstract and flowy background. I used blues, yellows, and a burnt orange to create the colorful background. The mix of blues and yellows created a shade of green, too. I set the background aside to dry.
Meanwhile, I die cut white flowers using the Urban Blooms Die and white cardstock. I also die cut the leaves from the Whimsy Blooms Bouquet Die Set and green cardstock. I arranged and attached the flowers and leaves to create a cascading bouquet of flowers. I used foam tabs behind some of the flowers to make them stand out. I added a few sequins in oranges and rose colors to the centers of the flowers for more detail.
I hot foiled the sentiment, “Give Thanks” on white cardstock using gold foil and my Glimmer Hot Foil System. I die cut the foiled words using the coordinating dies that are part of the Give Thanks Hot Foil Plate and Die set. The words were attached using foam tabs, amongst the florals. To finish this card, I added a few see-through sequins around the florals for a little sparkle.
