Hello crafty friends! I hope your week is going well! It’s Amanda Fitterer here with you on the blog today and I’m sharing this lovely floral I made!
For this card, I grabbed a piece of dark blue cardstock and trimmed it to 5.5″x4.25″. I glued this panel directly to my A2 card base. Then, I took a beautiful gray/brown neutral colored cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine with the smaller of the two Good Day Quilted Rectangles Dies.
Then, I ran it through my die cutting machine again with the Charming Flora Cover Die.
Now onto those gorgeous flowers! These are from the Whimsy Blooms Die Set! I cut all the pieces multiple times with yellow, dark blue, and glitter blue. For the stems, I used a mint color cardstock. I glued each piece, alternating the patterns, with liquid glue to create each flower. I glued them to the stems with Bearly Art Precision Glue. To get the look I wanted, I used my scissors to trim some of the stems. I propped up some of the flowers with 3D foam squares and used liquid glue to adhere my stems to the card front.
Now onto my sentiment! I used the Thank You & Hello Die Set with the same colored cardstocks I used for the flowers. I glued the sentiment to the shadow piece with liquid glue and then used 3D foam tape to adhere it to my card panel.
I hope you loved seeing this card on the blog today! I also hope you find some time to get crafty soon!
Thank you for coming to the Alex Syberia Designs Blog today! Xx, Amanda
