Hey everyone this is Nicky with you today on the blog with this new floral card. These bold and beautiful blooms have my heart and so I made a card that is good to have on hand for many occasions. Here’s what I’ve used:-
Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set
I grabbed a panel of pale blue cardstock from my stash and I die cut it using the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. I then used the Delicate Blooms Die to die cut other coloured cardstock to give myself a bunch of options for cards and greenery.
I formed the flowers, glueing the different components together and as you can see I did a little ink blending on the greenery and white flower parts.
I adhered the flowers to the blue panel using dimensional foam tape and then spattered white acrylic paint loosened with a drop or two of water over the entire panel. The Good Day die set comes with the fabulous bold sentiment shown. I die cut the back piece in white cardstock and the lettering in shimmering gold cardstock and adhered the parts together then added it to the corner of the blue panel using dimensional foam tape.
I backed the decorative panel with white craft foam and glued it to a white A6 card base and for a final touch i applied a few water droplet style embellishments from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by to read the blog today and I’ll see you back here next Saturday with something new. Happy crafting!
Nicky
