Hello, friends!! Happy Memorial Day to those of you in the US!! Brenda back with a floral card featuring the Lush Peony Bouquet Press + Foil Plate and Coordinating Stencil Set!!
I began by pressing the Lush Peony Bouquet Press + Foil Plate at the top and bottom of a panel of white cardstock with black ink using the BetterPress System. I used the Lush Peony Bouquet Stencil Set to add color using purple and teal dye inks, then added dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen. I splattered the panel with diluted purple ink.
I trimmed each side of the panel and adhered it to a panel of purple cardstock that was slightly wider. I adhered strips of black and white patterned paper to each side of an A2 white card base, then adhered the floral panel with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Classic Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set, was pressed onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and cut out with the included die. I also die-cut another layer from purple cardstock and adhered it behind the pressed one with liquid glue, slightly offset. It was then popped up with foam squares. I added some purple confetti to finish off the card.
