Welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs blog, this is Nicky with you today with a classic thank you card featuring some subtle colours and plenty of sparkle. My card showcases the Autumn Leaves Die Set which you’ll find useful for year round designs. I have also used the Thank You & Hello Die Set.
To start the card I took the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set and I used just the largest die to die cut some patterned cardstock from my stash. I backed the panel with white craft foam and applied it to a larger white panel and to the card base.
Using the Autumn Leaves Die Set I die cut pale pink, glitter gold and two shades of kraft cardstock to form a selection of leaves which I assembled with glue where necessary.
I arranged the formed leaves into a flourish and started to glue in place on the background.
To complete the card I die cut the two parts of the Thank You from white and kraft cardstock, glued the parts together and then applied it to the side of the leafy flourish using dimensional foam tape. Card complete!
