“A Tea-rrific Friendship in Bloom” Project Inspiration

A sweet little teapot overflowing with beautiful blooms is the perfect way to celebrate a special friendship! Today’s handmade card combines a charming floral-filled teapot with a delicate doily circle frame and a pretty two-tone pink gingham background. The sentiment, “For a Tea-rrific Friend,” adds a playful touch to this feminine, vintage-inspired design that’s as sweet as a cup of tea shared with a dear friend! My card features the following new Alex Syberia Designs products:

Tea & Books Stamp & Die Bundle

Lace Doilies & Borders Die Set

This card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I cut a piece of gingham pattern paper and attached it to white card base. I die cut the circular doily design using the Lace Doilies & Borders Die Set. I attached it to the front of the card. I die cut a coordinating pink pattern paper for the center of the doily. I attached it to the card.  I added a drop of white Pearl Pen to the gingham, overlapping squares to create an elevated and dimensional look.

I die cut the pitcher/vase, greenery and florals. I stamped the teapot. I attached the forals and vase using foam tabs.  I added a rose and some greenery at the base of the retailer.  I assembled the card.
