A cozy little corner filled with colorful books, a pretty tea canister, and sweet floral touches is the inspiration behind today’s handmade card! The shelves are packed with a delightful assortment of books in a rainbow of colors and a vintage-looking tea tin, creating a charming display that’s full of personality. Delicate garlands of pink blossoms and blue bows drape across the shelving, adding a soft, feminine touch, while the gingham wallpaper below the chair rail brings a little country cottage charm to the scene. It’s the perfect little spot to curl up with a good book and a warm cup of tea!
My 5″ X 7″ card features the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
Tea & Books stamp and die bundle (Tea & Books stamp set only)
Display Shelves and Shelf Decor Add-On Lucky Cat & Matryoshka Bundle OR
My A7 card base is made from white cardstock. The gingham on the bottom of the card front panel is a pattern paper cut to fit the 5″ width.

To create this scene, I started by stenciling a diamond sparkle pattern on white cardstock using the Sparkles Stencil. I used a pink ink for a light wallpaper effect behind the shelves. Next, I die cut the shelves and floral garland using the Display Shelves Die Set. I also added the gingham band of pattern below the stenciled design. I used the Tea & Books stamp and die bundle to die cut the books and tea canister. I used the Tea & Books stamp set to add the “Tea & Books” label to the tea canister. I added flowers and vases using dies from the Display Shelves and Shelf Decor Add-On Lucky Cat & Matryoshka Bundle. There are so many combinations of items you could add to this quaint little reading nook. I attached all the items to the shelving and attached the card front to the card base.
