Looking for a fresh take on floral elegance? This 5″ X 7″ card has all the elegance in a soft aqua and ivory color scheme. It’s also a great set to show that an elegant card does not need to be complicated or time-consuming to make. With a touch of simplicity and pearls, this card comes to life in the softest and most beautiful way! I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
Lush Peony Bouquet Press Plate & Stencil Bundle
Nested Scalloped Rectangular Frames Die Set

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I used the press plate from the Lush Peony Bouquet Press Plate & Stencil Bundle to print the larger bouquet in a green BetterPress ink on a light aqua cardstock. I die cut the design using the largest scalloped frame from the Nested Scalloped Rectangular Frames Die Set. I also printed the the design in green on a piece of white cardstock and hand cut out the three large blossoms. I added a soft aqua and ivory wash to the petals using Copic Sketch Markers. For the floral centers, I used a YG01 Copic Sketch Marker. I also splattered on white acrylic paint using a fan brush. I attached the white blossoms over the printed bouquet (on aqua cardstock,) using foam tabs. I splattered white acrylic paint using a fan brush, over the flowers.

I attached the scalloped frame to an A7 white card base. I used white Pearl Pen to create a textured and dimensional dotted background. I also added Pearl Pen to the scallop edge. Lastly, aqua self-adhesive pearl stickers around the bouquet completed the look.
