Ready for some fresh looks for the new season? The new Alex Syberia Designs Chic Shoe Collection includes press plates and dies to make stylish and unique looks for Spring. For someone that loves shoes, this collection is so fun. Whatever you can imagine for the perfect shoe, you can make! Add bows, flowers and more for fun looks. My inspiration card features the following ASD products:
Wrapped With Love Stamp Set and coordinating Wrapped With Love die set
Nested Scalloped Rectangles Frames Dies Set
My card measures 5″ X 7″ and is made from Neenah Solar White cardstock for the base and card front.

To make this card, I cut all the elements of the Chic Shoes Die Set to make the shoes. I used a bright Kelly green colored cardstock for the top layers, pink for the shoe lining and black for the base/sole. I also used a bright pink for the bows from the same set. The flowers/floral centers were cut from yellow cardstock. I cut ten of them in total, two for the shoes and eight for the background flowers used later. I cut two of the smaller bows from the Pretty Bows Dies from white cardstock for the ankle ribbon ties. The cute daisies are from the Charming Medallions Die Set. I cut two, one for each shoe topper.
I assembled the shoes. I used my Gelly Roll Pen in white to add dots to the pink lining and pink bows and highlights to the floral centers.
For the background, you’ll notice that I created diagonals of designs, spanning from one corner to the opposite corner. I created more of a “mixed media” look using stencils, splatters and florals. First, I splattered some kelly green colored watercolor on the upper left to the lower right corners. I used the striped stencil, Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and a blender brush to stencil on the “gingham patches” on the opposite diagonal. It looks distressed and imperfect in a mixed media way. I also stamped in black florals from the Wrapped With Love Stamp Set on both sides of the card front. Finally, I used one of the layers of the Tiny Flower Stencil with Distressed Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn to create diagonally cascading leaves for the yellow flowers to rest on. I attached a yellow flower on each green leafy spot. I think these dimensional florals are so cute! I used a fine-tip marker to add faux green stitching around the edges of the card front.

I attached a vellum and white scallop layer using the Nested Scalloped Rectangles Frames Dies to the center and attached it using a foam tab to make it stand out. I attached the shoes to the center to complete the card. I added dots of Pearl Pen in a golden yellow on the smaller white rectangle’s scallops.
