Well hello everyone, this is Nicky back with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a card for a friend that you miss.
To create this card I have used the following products:-
Glowing Geometry Hot Foil Plate
Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set
I started the card by taking a panel of pink cardstock and I used the Glowing Geometry Hot Foil Plate and white foil to create the pretty design. I glued this panel to the white card base.
I then used the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set to create the smaller focal panel from white cardstock and I added a little pink ink blend in the lower right hand corner. I glued this panel to the patterned panel and set it to one side.
I using green and two shades of pink cardstock, I die cut the clover using the Spring Clover Die Set. I glued the pieces together and adhered the flowers to the background.
Next, I stamped the little mice from Sweet Friend using black Memento Ink. I coloured the images with the following Copic markers:-
Mice – E44, E43, E44, E42, E41, E40, W00
Blush – R22 ,R21, R20, R00
Ears – R21, R20, R00, R000
Pink – RV63, RV52
Green – G12, G40
The image was die cut using the coordinating die, I backed it with dimensional foam tape and then adhered it to the ink blended corner of the card.
Sweet Friend comes with some lovely sentiments, I chose these selections, stamping in black ink and then die cutting with the coordinating die. These words were applied with skinny strips of dimensional foam tape.
To complete my card I highlighted with a white gel pen and added some sparkling clear sequins and then I was done!
I appreciate you reading my blog post today. I’ll be back next Saturday with something new to inspire you with.
Happy crafting!
Nicky
