Hello, friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here. I feel “pressed” to share more fun, press plates with you! My card today features these new Alex Syberia Designs products:
Abstract Floral Background Press Plates
Classic Sentiments Press Plate and dies
This 5″ X7″ card begins with an A7 white card base. I used the Abstract Floral Background Press Plate to create this modern-edge floral background. Using BetterPress black ink, the Spellbinders BetterPress Letterpress system and aqua blue cardstock, I inked this A2-sized design. I attached a white circle to create a focal point for the front of the card.
I die cut aqua florals with black stamens to create the five flowers. I also die cut additional white sprigs using dies from the Trendy Botanicals Dies. The flowers were assembled and attached the circle.
I used the Classic Sentiments Press Plate and die to stamp and die cut the sentiments. I attached them over the florals using glue and foam tabs where needed. These sentiments are all created by inking and die cutting using one press plate and one die. It’s fantastic. I have extra sentiments to now use on other projects! I did use a BetterPress Letterpress cardstock in white which worked really well for this fine print.
