These bunnies have officially traded their busy days for sunshine, sandy beaches, and some serious summer chillin’! Today’s greeting card features the cutest crew of beach-loving bunnies soaking up every minute of a perfect summer day. One is lounging lazily in a hammock while another floats peacefully in the water—because apparently, bunnies know exactly how summer should be done!
With a carefree beach scene and plenty of warm-weather charm, this card is all about slowing down, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying those wonderfully lazy days of summer. Grab your shades, find a comfy spot, and come chill at the beach with these adorable little bunnies!
My card features the following Alex Syberia Designs products from the summer release:
Summer Chill Stamp and Die Bundle
My card is 5″ X 7″ and made from Neenah 80lb solar white cardstock.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped and colored the chilling bunnies from the Summer Chill Stamp and Die Bundle. I used summer bright colors to color up the cuties. I die cut all the animals and worked on the background next.
To make the background, I used the Glistening Water Stencil using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink on a light aqua cardstock. I added white highlights using my white acrylic pen. I attached the stenciled water to the bottom of the card front. For the top half, I created a sandy beach using Copic Markers, E43, E42, E50, E53 and E55 colors. I also tore the bottom of the sandy bottom for a “light to white” sandy edge, along the water. I added specks of shells and sand using markers in black and white. I kept the top half of the card front white.
I attached a sun in the sky using a foam tab, adding light yellow sun rays protruding from the sun. I also attached the bunny crew chillers and their accessories in the water and the beach using foam tabs. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the Summer Chill Stamp and Die Bundle in the upper right corner.
