Hello, crafty friends and happy Friday!! Brenda here with a birthday card to share with you today featuring the Life Is Good Stamp Set, along with a few other products from the Kickstarter Release!!
I began by gold heat embossing the stunning floral from the Life Is Good Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Markers and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.
For the background, I die-cut the Fancy Cover Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of lilac cardstock, then adhered it to a white A2 card base. I cut the floral die-cut in two and adhered half of it at the top of the panel and the other half at the bottom. The excess was trimmed from the edges.
I gold heat embossed the sentiment, from the Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, onto Bristol cardstock (so it would match the floral) and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I love that this set has so many different font styles, from playful to elegant!! I popped the sentiment up with foam adhesive and added dots with a yellow gel pen to the stamen of some of the flowers and I was finished.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
