Happy Monday, crafters!! Brenda back with a fall card featuring a few goodies from the Autumn In Kyoto Collection!!
I started by pressing the image from the Autumn In Kyoto Press + Foil Plate & Die Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink using the BetterPress System. I colored it with Copic markers in the following colors: R59, R37, R29, R35, YR18, YR09, YR07, Y38, E13, E11, R00, Y24, Y17, Y08, N9, N7, N5. It was cut out with the Autumn In Kyoto Press + Foil Plate & Die Set and a white gel pen was used to add highlights.
For the background, I embossed the Shoji Screen 3D Embossing Folder onto a panel of white cardstock. I trimmed it slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to an A2 panel of burnt orange cardstock that was die-cut with the largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. The Japanese Maple Branch Dies were cut from brown and yellow cardstock. I added shading with orange and red dye inks using blending brushes, then adhered the branch and leaves with liquid glue. The Kokeshi doll was also adhered to the background with liquid glue. I added Glossy Accents to the lenses of the glasses for a bit of shine.
The sentiment is also included in the Autumn In Kyoto Press + Foil Plate & Die Set. It was die-cut with burnt orange and black cardstock, then stacked and adhered together, slightly offset. It was adhered with liquid glue, along with a few falling leaves to finish off the card.
That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Have a wonderful week!!
