My card features the Mermaid Kitties Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies, Whimsical Scalloped Frames Die Set and the Glistening Water Stencil!!
I started by stamping the images from the Mermaid Kitties Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers and used the Coordinating Dies to cut the kitties out. The water droplets were fussy cut.
For the background, I stenciled the Glistening Water Stencil onto white cardstock with aqua and teal dye inks. It was die-cut with the largest scalloped die in the Whimsical Scalloped Frames Die Set, then adhered to a white A2 card base. I taped the two smaller scalloped dies from the same die set together and die-cut it from white cardstock. The larger of the two dies was cut from vellum and the frame was adhered to the top. It was adhered to the background with liquid glue. The kitties were popped up with foam squares and the water droplets with liquid glue.
The sentiments, also from the Mermaid Kitties Stamp Set, were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. They were also popped up with foam squares. Lastly, a white gel pen was used to add highlights and details to the cute images.
