Hello friends. By now, you’ve seen many cards featuring the new Magical Fuchsia florals. They are so pretty. I decided to use the 3D embossing folder for this card along with a few extra products by Alex Syberia Designs. This “thank you” card is a perfect way to show your gratitude.
My 5″ X 7″ card features the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
Magical Fuchsia 3D Embossing Folder (Get the Bundle here!)
Magical Fuchsia Layered Stencil
Nested Scalloped Rectangle Frames Dies
Thank you Die (Alternate Option)
Andalusia Wildflowers die (Alternate Option)
Note: I finished this card and realized that two sets of dies I used were not part of this release. Somehow, they got in my release package by accident! For the “thank you” die and the small background flower die, I’ve shared die sets above that are available now and can be used as excellent alternates from the dies I used.
To make this 5″ X7″ card, I used the Magical Fuchsia Layered Stencil to stencil the floral design on white cardstock. After I was done stenciling. I lined up the Magical Fuchsia 3D Embossing Folder with the stenciled design and ran it through my embossing machine. This made the florals beautifully embossed and dimensional. I hand cut the design. I also used Copic Markers and my white ink pen to add additional detailing and depth to the florals. I used Pearl Pen in yellow to add the stamens.
I used the Nested Scalloped Rectangle Frames Dies to cut a scallop rectangle in white and a straight rectangle in purple. I attached the florals to the scallop top layer and added the purple layer below. I added a simple white satin bow at the top of the florals. I used my white pen to add the stitching and zigzag detailing around the purple frame. I attached the entire layered frame design to the card base using foam tabs.
For the background, I die cut lots of little tiny flowers and glued them on to my white card base. I used some scrap watercolor painted paper to die cut the flowers. I attached them, hand drew little leaves around the florals and a added a small purple dot for each flower center. Lastly, I die cut the “thank you” script from the same watercolor paper and die cut white base layers. I attached the sentiment below the focal point, with foam tabs to complete the card.
