When I need an elegant, but fast card, I look to the Lush Peony Bouquet Press Plate and Stencil Bundle by Alex Syberia Designs to help make the card happen! I love this set for how beautiful the florals come out every time. It doesn’t matter what colors I use, it always looks great. For this wedding card, I used coral and yellow colors for the blossoms. I used the following products:
Lush Peony Bouquet Press Plate + Hot Foil Plate and Stencil Bundle
Classic Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set
For starters, my card measures 5″ X 7″ (A7 size). The card base is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock.
To make this card, I used the Spellbinder’s BetterPress Letterpress system and black BetterPress Ink to press the peony bouquet design on white cardstock. I used the coordinating stencil to color the bouquet using blender brushes and Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries (for the layers on the blooms) and Mowed Lawn (for the foliage.) I also used Copic Sketch Markers in R35, R14, Y21, YR31 and YG03 to enhance some of the colors in the crevices. This stencil already includes white highlights on the flowers which is why is looks so good. I hand cut the floral bouquet.
For the sentiment, I used the Classic Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set and black BetterPress ink to print and cut the “Celebrate” sentiment.

I cut a 5″ X 7″ card front panel from Ivory cardstock. I splattered some green watercolor ink over the paper. I attached the floral bouquet to the front panel using foam tabs. I also adhered the “Celebrate” sentiment below the flowers. I stamped “congratulations” using a stamp from Spring Garden stamp set right above the “celebrate” word. Lastly, I added six deeper coral pearl gem stickers to the front of the card and attached the panel to the card base.
