There’s a new release at Alex Syberia Designs called, “Magical Fuchsia Collection.” This collection includes a die set, press + foil plate, embossing folder and stencil set that all work together to color and create beautiful, magical fuchsia florals. I created two cards using these products:

“You Brighten My Day” Card

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I used shades of orchid and pinks to create these beautiful blossoms using the Magical Fuchsia Die Set.  I layered each one slightly different and in different color layers. For the greenery, I used a medium green cardstock and blended Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks over the green cardstock. I created three vines of florals.

For the background, I used the Magical Fuchsia Press + Foil Plate to print the black and white design at the top of the card front. I used black Letterpress ink to print the design twice on the top. I layered the die cut florals over the black and white print. I also used the Magical Fuchsia Press + Foil Plate & Die Set to print and die cut the three sentiments from the set. I attached one sentiment, “You brighten my day” to the card front in the lower, right corner.  I attached the card front to a white card base and added yellow Pearl Pen drops to the stamens on each flower to complete the card.

“Just Because” Ribbon Frame Card

For this 5″ X 7″ card,  I stamped in black and die cut a ribbon frame using the Wrapped With Love stamp set and coordinating Wrapped With Love die set. I took the inside die cut of the ribbon frame and die cut it using the Tiny Hearts Cover Die. I attached the tiny hearts insert and ribbon frame to the front of the card.

I used the Magical Fuchsia Press + Foil Plate & Die Set to print the floral design. I used the Magical Fuchsia Layered Stencil Collection to color the florals. I also used my Copics to add additional detailing to the flowers and leaves. I added Pearl Pen dots to the stamens in yellow. The floral design was attached using foam tabs. Lastly, I added the “Just Because” sentiment that I printed and cut using the Magical Fuchsia Press + Foil Plate & Die Set earlier.
