There’s something timeless about lush florals in full bloom – especially when peonies and sweet florals take center stage. With their soft layers, romantic texture, and garden-inspired beauty, these florals bring an effortless elegance to every handmade creation. Today’s card design features a trio of florals and delicate stems gathered together in a fresh, artistic arrangement that feels both classic and modern. From the fullness of the blooms to the graceful movement of the greenery, every detail is designed to celebrate the beauty of nature in its most vibrant season. I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products from the NEW Lush Florals Collection:
Lush Florals Collection Bundle
Floral Trio Press+ Hot Foil Plate and Stencil Bundle (Save with the bundle and get the stencil, too!)
Floral Trio Press + Hot Foil Plate
Magical Fuchsia Press + Foil Plate and Die set
My featured card is 5″ X 7″ (A7) size and uses a Neenah 80lb cardstock for the white card base. Here’s the details.
I love this new floral design called, “Floral Trio.” Alex Syberia Designs came out with a press plate, stencil and a die set that are all in this floral trio pattern. I used the press plate and stencil on this card. To begin, I used the press plate to create the background for the card. I used a BetterPress ink designed for press plating in the Iris color and the press plate to create a flowing design of these beautiful florals for the background. I stamped one in the top left and one in the bottom right using the press plate. It’s a purple line over a lavender cardstock that creates a beautiful flow of florals. I used white acrylic paint and diluted with some water to splatter the design with white. I love how the white creates another interesting and brighter layer.
I used the press plate to create one more floral trio. I used BetterPress Black ink on white cardstock. After I created the pattern, I used the coordinating stencil to color it with Distress Oxide inks in Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness for the leaves and Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Black Soot and Mustard Seed for the flowers. NOTE: The stencil is AVAILABLE ONLY with in the BUNDLE. It is not sold separately for this set. I used my E57 Copic Marker for the stems. I hand cut out the bouquet and attached it to the center of the card using foam tabs.
In the centers of the florals, I used my white ink pen to create dots to add depth to the floral centers. I used the Magical Fuchsia Press + Foil Plate and Die set to create the “You brighten my day” sentiment. I attached the sentiment using a foam tab, in the lower right corner. I attached the card front to the white card base to complete the card.
