Well hello everyone this is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I am sharing a card that is perfect for these hot summer days. For this card I have used the following products:-
Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set
I took a white A2 panel of cardstock, I used the Charming Flora Cover Die to create interest and then ink blended the panel using Distress Oxide Inks in pastel shades. I adhered this panel to my prepared card base.
I used the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set to create the three rectangular focal point panels which I ink blended using the same ink selection which was Salvaged Patina, Saltwater Taffy and Fossilized Amber. The panels were glued in place.
I stamped the images from Pengu-tastic Holiday in black ink and coloured the images with the following Copic markers:-
Penguins – T4, T3, T2, T1, T0, E51, E50
Palm Tree Trunk – E42, E41, E40
Yellow – E51, E50, E0000
Pink – R21, R20, R00, R0000
Mint – BG32, G00, BG11, BG0000
I used the coordinating die set to die cut the images.
Each image was backed with dimensional foam tape and applied to create 3 mini scenes.
I also stamped and die cut the sentiment and applied with foam tape and a few sparkling clear sequins completed this fun beachy card.
