Hello Crafty friends,
Sylvie @kaliscards here. I have a shaker card today, using one of the new amazing bold sentiment dies, You are loved. I also used a lot of other new products: the Collecting memories stamp and die sets, the Floral medley stamp set and Self-care sentiments, as well as products from past releases: Giraffe-ic friends for the foliage and tiny hearts, Always be yourself with more tiny hearts and the Slimline nested stitched die set for the front panel.
To create the card, I stamped the foliage from the Giraffe-ic friends a few times at the bottom of the panel. I then stamped the big flower from the Floral medley set 3 times, using the masking technique. I also stamped some leaves and then drew the stems with a copic liner.
I then blended Distress oxides Spun sugar and Kitsch flamingo at the top of the front panel.
On a different piece of cardstock, I stamped the small sentiment, cute bear, wagon and flower load from the Self-Care Sentiments and Collecting memories sets. I also stamped a heart from the Always be yourself set on the bear butt with red ink. I colored all the images with Copic markers. I added some grass details at the bottom of the front panel.
I then die cut the front panel using the larger rectangle from the Slimline nested stitched die set and also die cut the You are loved opening on the front panel at the same time. I kept all pieces of the sentiment to reassemble them, adding tape at the back to maintain them in place. I also die cut the small sentiment, bear, wagon and flowers, from the Self-Care sentiments and Collecting memories coordinating dies, and assembled the images with liquid adhesive.
I then taped a piece of acetate at the back of the You are loved opening and placed the sentiment at the front, to use it as guide and adhere the negative parts on the acetate. I then removed the sentiment and adhered the small sentiment just underneath the opening. I then stamped tiny hearts around the sentiment from the Always be yourself and Giraffe-ic friends sets, with red ink.
Next, I added 3D foam at the back of the panel and around the shaker, poured some flower clay embellishments and a few aurora sequins. I removed the release paper from the 3D foam and adhered a large rectangle of cardstock, slightly larger and longer than the front panel. I cut the excess cardstock with scissors and adhered the front panel to my cardbase with liquid adhesive. To finish the card, I adhered the cute bear and its wagon with 3D foam on the front panel.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful crafty day!
Sylvie
